The Tolhuaca National Park is located in the region of La Araucanía, in the communes of Collipulli and Curacautín, province of Malleco.
It was created as a national park on October 16, 1935 by Supreme Decree No. 2,489 of the Ministry of Lands and Colonization.
The unit stands out for the protection of fauna species such as the güiña, peregrine falcon, green lizard and four-eyed toad.
Regarding flora, it is found: the araucaria, cypress of the mountain range and holy cherry.
